From Inspiration to Design: Designing for Children meant looking at a new scale such as the height of the windows to the placing of door handles. One of the goals for this project was to have spatial elements in which the children were able to interact and be stimulated. This led to the concept of the living wall: thick walls where children could play or hang out. These living walls are dotted around the centre but are most prominent in the 'kinder kitchens' that are designed at a completely different and smaller scale.
